1- GENERAL INFORMATION
The competition will take place in Torino (Italy) from
Tuesday 4th July 2006 to Saturday 15th July 2006.
2- THE COMPETITION POOL
Indoor Olympic swimming-pool length 50 meters, 8 lanes, depth
m. 2.30, Omega electronic scoreboard, about
2.500 spectator seat.
3- LONG DISTANCE FIELD
Avigliana Lake clear water, maximum measure: km 1,30 x km
1,00 surface; average temperature 25° Celsius
4- PARTICIPATION
Eligible to participate in this Championship are only the
teams of the National Federations who are affiliated
with CMAS. Each National team should comply with the rules of
championship, the safety conditions set by the
Organizers and the CMAS Rules and Regulations.
> Swimming-pool events: Every National team should enter not
more than two (2) competitors for each
individual event and not more than one team in each relay
event (CMAS Rules).
> Long Distance events: Every National team should enter not
more than six (6) competitors for each individual
event and not more than one team in each relay event (CMAS
Rules).
Every National team must bring with it two (2) national flags
(m. 2,00 x m. 1,00) and a CD with the national
hymn.
5- DISCIPLINES AND DISTANCES (MEN AND WOMEN)
> Swimming-pool:
Surface Finswimming : 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1.500m
Apnea : 50m
Immersion : 100m, 400m, 800m
Relay : 4x100m, 4x200m
> Long Distance:
Individual : 6.000m, 20.000m
Relay : 4x3.000m

9- CYLINDER (BOTTLE) FILLING
The organizer guarantees the filling of cylinders (bottles)
for either DIN or YOKE type. The maximum charging
pressure is 200 Bars. All cylinder (bottles) must be in good
condition and must have passed an hydraulic test less than
24 month before the date of the championship.

10- THE BOOKING & ENTRY FEE
> OPTION 1 (12 days):
Entry fee for each participant is
950 Euro. The organizer will provide:
- Accommodations in Olympic Village in rooms with two, three
or four beds.
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner, beginning with the dinner of
the 4 th July until the breakfast of the 15 th July
2006 .
- Swimming-pool during all training time and competition (see
the programme).
- Transportation between Olympic Village and Swimming
pool/Avigliana Lake.
- Transportation between Olympic Village and Torino Airport
or Railway Station.
- Participation at the opening and closing ceremony, party.
> OPTION 2 (9 days): Entry fee for each participant is
740 Euro. The organizer will provide:
- Accommodations in Olympic Village in rooms with two, three
or four beds.
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner, beginning with the dinner of
the 4 th July until the breakfast of the 12 th July
2006 .
- Swimming-pool during all training time and competition (see
the programme).
- Transportation between Olympic Village and Swimming
pool/Avigliana Lake.
- Transportation between Olympic Village and Torino Airport
or Railway Station.
- Participation at the opening and closing ceremony, party.
> OPTION 3 (6 days): Entry fee for each participant is
520 Euro. The organizer will provide:
- Accommodations in Olympic Village in rooms with two, three
or four beds.
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner, beginning with the dinner of
the 10 th July until the breakfast of the 15 th July
2006 .
- Swimming-pool during all training time and competition (see
the programme).
- Transportation between Olympic Village and Avigliana Lake.
- Transportation between Olympic Village and Torino Airport
or Railway Station.
- Participation at the opening and closing ceremony, party.
> Extra charges for single room is 30 Euro per
day.
> Extra day expenses Euro 70 per extra day,
including Accommodation, Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
> Extra day expenses Euro 80 per extra day,
including Accommodation, Breakfast, lunch, dinner and transport.
> Transportation from Airport Milano Malpensa to Torino and
come back: Euro 40 each person.
> Swimming pool charges: Euro 50 per one lane per
hour.
> Refill Bottles: Free of charges.
11- PAYMENT
Minimum 50% of total entry fee should be deposited at our
bank no later than 3 rd April 2006 to guarantee
the booking. After this date (3 rd April 2006) the
participation fee will be add to 10% of the total amount.
The
balance payment should be made at the arrival.
Organizer can accept only cash and wire transfer (bank
charges are due for remitter). No bank check are
accept.

12- SECRETARY AND COMPETITION FEE
The participants who want to use other hotels by themselves,
have to pay 330 Euro per person for secretary,
competition, opening and closing gala ceremony. No local
transportation will be provided.
13- VISA
If you need visas, please contact the Italian Embassy or
Consulate in your country at least 60 days prior to
entry in Italy.
14- VARIA
Electrical current in Italy is 220V, 50Hz.

16- PROGRAM OF THE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Championship will be carried out in a period of nine days
and 15 session.
Swimming-Pool events: The qualifying heats are scheduled in
the morning and the semi-finals (for 50m SF,
50m AP) or finals in the afternoon. All the other distance:
qualifying heats and final.
Long Distance events: Final race with all participants.
The program of the championships will be the following:
Tuesday 4 th July 2006

- afternoon Documents check and delivery of Accredit at the
Olympic Village.
Wednesday 5 th July 2006
- morning Training at the swimming-pool
- Technical meeting of the Team leaders at the Olympic
